I've been trying to think of new ways that people could gear up, but I can't think of a reason why people who aren't savage raiding...would? Most people would stop at a HQ crafted set (or, currently, the relic set of a higher ilvl that also provides bonuses to content)

Removing tomestone cap would make crafted gear useless and disincentivize people to try harder content as a means to get gear

I wonder if adding a means to augment crafted gear as an alternate means of gear upgrading could be a way to explore. It'd have to be something that couldn't be botted easily, but also make the time and resource investment worth it
