You should read the story anon, you missed out on so much, I'll say the story of Blue Archive is a lot of times generic but it's executed in such a genuine and heartfelt way that it's hard to dislike it
You don't lose much for skipping on momotalks they are most of the time very hit or miss, those you can just kinda take your time, what I usually would do is read the momotalks of the students currently participating in the story volume if I had them
