Araizumi has been using AI for a while now too, it's not a secret at all. It caused a bit more of a stink on Jap social media, but the series really doesn't have almost any public interest in it at all anymore, so coming out with a ebin wacky tweeeest is multipurpose. Helps distract from the LN artist being an AIfaggot and also tries to reignite some interest in the series again by going "Heh, all that shit you just read and watch for decades? Not canon ;)))))".
