This isn't a new thing anon infact they did this way back with Full Boost where most of the DLC were lower to same cost units or existing roster picks with different pilots.

Anyways it says a lot of how fucking boring WfM units are when none of them look particularly good to play or have basic ass movesets. You compare Aerial Rebuilds to Mighty Strike Freedom and the difference of like night and day.
