And yeah, there's really not much you can do about Surfing Cannon; it's undodgeable without a perfectly-timed gum boost at a distance and making it unblockable means there's pretty much no counterplay unless you have some means to hit them out of it before they're done charging. Giving it gum damage made it even dumber because it can 1-shot bind with medium Ghost, and Wall Shooter makes it so even an uncharged Surfing Cannon can bind with medium Ghost and it often does enough gum damage to get around gum damage reduction if you charge it too. Since there's no Iron Bind and medium Ghost has a low cooltime, you can just keep pestering people endlessly until they inevitably die. You'll probably be able to gumbind and even if you can't you still have Giant Killer and Berserker to benefit from it. It's pretty fucked unless you've got a move that's immune to projectiles
