Just got done playing NieR Replicant for the first time. Lovely game but man, I can't put my finger on it but the game sort of just drags. Its strange because I was enjoying the beginning for a bit but then I think around the Junk yard, is when I started getting bored of the gameplay. A lot of the maps just wasn't fun to run around in, the whole game was piss easy and the story just sort of...happens. Felt like the game was really rushed.

All the back tracking for side quests with few ways to warp early on really sucked the life out of me. All the side quests were really draining for me really. Is Automata any better?
