It's just trickle down economics in disguise. The profits from slavery were privatized. Leftists claim that working class whites benefited indirectly and thus owe reparations even if neither they nor then ancestors owned slaves. If the private profits from slavery indirectly benefited working class whites then that's the entirety of left wing economics btfo, since left wing economics is predicated on the assertion that private profits don't benefit wider society. If working class whites owe reparations then this is also socialized losses + privatized gains, since the slaveowners (and their descendants) got to keep the profits all to themselves while the reparations bill is being externalized onto a wider group. This actually makes reparations targeting all whites a *pro slavery* policy, since it's not punishing the slaveowners (and their descendants), it's actually bailing them out by forcing the working class to foot their bill.
