Spamton has genuine feelings for Tenna but he's also an ASSHOLE who can't comprehend doing things for someone unconditionally. He sees Tenna's love as another one of his possessions that was taken away from him.
His inability to consider Tenna's perspective is exactly why so angry about the breakup and paints himself as the victim, despite having been the more manipulative one in the relationship and the one that actually ghosted his partner. It doesn't matter that Tenna felt betrayed and abandoned, it made Spamton irrationally upset that the TV isn't returning his feelings which he felt entitled to.
When he sees that Tenna kept the pipis he pulls a full 180 ready to accept him, because he really WANTS Tenna's love. Once again failing to see that from Tenna's POV; after having spent a significant time away from eachother, that they've both changed and that he sees the current Spamton as a completely different person.
Spamton doesn't even drop his guard to show a side of himself that Tenna would want to see. He yells out "[Trash heap]!!!" like he's too irony poised for this moment of vulnerability. Yet he STILL expected Tenna to immediately accept him back like during the peak of their relationship.
Spamton's narcissism conflicts with the rare moments he actually does feel things for others. He craves a serious relationship but fucks it all up because he won't do what's actually required to maintain those serious relationships.
That's my unnecessarily long character study, sorry for the text wall.
I think Spamtenna has a very small chance of working out again if they like, sat in a bar and cried about how much they mean to eachother and stuff.
