It only takes me 10 minutes to solo clear 400%s

They never scaled melee at all and it's kind of sad.
In regular hard mode melee can on tap mook enemies, but in the 400% and sigma modes you're lucky if you can get a 3 shot. Devs out here causing hyper inflation in health and damage values and poor sub attacks got left behind harder than Jayber's turrets.
