After binging it recently I have come to the conclusion that it's the top standard for Magical Girl shows, and it's animated on cel and has fantastic music so it's damn near perfect.

Yeah you have to commit to watching it, it's worth it though.
I even watched an episode of the English dub and hated it because of all the changes, like the intro doesn't even fit at all it's like some shitty action cartoon intro.
