That's a silly propaganda myth and you know it, Hans. Cavalry was still in use, yes, but nobody charged at tanks with sabers. They were used either for recon or carried anti-tank rifles. And not just in our army, it was common.
Polish wz.35 is a beautiful weapon by the way. It worked like a proto rail gun of sorts. After capturing some of them Nazis renamed them and started using them, marvelling at the elegance and inventiveness of Polish technology.
