Adobe stuff already doesn't match the existing visual style. Observe: the Mac icons, and Dorico, and Whisky, mostly have a consistent style (though funnily, Photos doesn't keep to it even though it's a native program). Adobe stuff and CLion on the other hand are flat. They don't match it. It's more pronounced with the Adobe stuff, I find CLion doesn't feel that mismatched with the native programs but the Adobe icons really stand out as not part of the same consistent theme.
Companies that want to match the new style will design their icons to match it; companies that don't care won't bother. Same as it already is.
