>Why can't game companies make anything good anymore? Every game runs poorly, looks blurry and is boring as fuck now
A few aspects:
>Rising costs
They've been firing industry veterans (or they just left), and replacing them with noobs who have no idea what they're doing.
>UE5
This shitty engine is not only badly optimized, but also provides tools like Nanite and Lumen, where those noobs mentioned above click 1 button to use it, without actually optimizing the game. Then you add Frame Generation, and you get the blurry mess that runs at 40 fps on the latest hardware.
>Leftist pressure and infiltration
Naughty Dog is the best example of that. (((They))) somehow managed to push their own guy as the game director, which led to The Last of Us 2 - an utter destruction and humiliation of the franchize.
Then it's the outside pressure to make the games "accesable, female-friendly, homo-friendly", and whatever else you can imagine. ESG, and such.
If anyone's interested in the technical aspects, Threat Interactive has some great videos on the matter:

Exactly. Adding the vicious attacks on him that have nothing to do with the actual subject, leads me to believe that he's right on everything.
