There are literally thousands of other ways he could go about it that are not this though. Come on.
And while I do give him crap for it I don't exactly mind. I don't like Nozomi so it would be an issue if he could never move on from her/Karua in any route. If anything I'm glad Takumi is plastic enough he can focus romantically on more characters than her (and especially on a certain tall twink with rock hard abs).
Won't stop me from making fun of him or calling him a whore though.
