the cyborgs are made with black box ayylmao nanomachines nobody understands. women with strong enough egos are able to maintain their sense of identity through the process and have them shape an ideal body based on their mental image. the ones who can't are given mass-produced bodies designed by the three major nikke manufacturers and those ones are standard tacticool cyborg looks. all the named characters are ones with enough ego to make their own body though, and unsurprisingly women's ideal mental image of themselves is more likely to look like a supermodel than an attack helicopter.
