Robert Mærsk Uggla is the current chairman of A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S and CEO of A.P. Møller Holding A/S, the parent holding company of A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S. A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S is a Danish shipping and logistic company, with office in 130 countries. Robert Mærsk Uggla attended the Bilderberg Group meeting in 2025.

Robert is the offspring of his mother Ane Mærsk Mc-Kinney Uggla, and his father is Gustav Peder Hansson Uggla. He is the heir of the elite Danish Møller bloodline through his mother’s side. The Møller family has owned the shipping company A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S for four generations. His mother chaired the A.P. Møller Foundation which owns the controlling stake in A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S. Robert’s maternal grandfather, Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller, was a Danish shipping magnate, who became the company’s CEO and chairman from 1965 after the death of his father. He served as CEO and chairman until 1993 and 2003 respectively. Robert’s great maternal grandfather, Arnold Peter Møller, founded Dampskibsselskabet Svendborg (later renamed A.P. Moller-Maersk Group) in 1904.
