Applejack and her family are lovely. I know some people complain about Applejack episodes being more about her family than her, but Applejack's cutie mark is literally about how important her family is to her. It's like complaining about a Dash episode being about the Wonderbolts and going fast, or an episode about Rarity making dresses. It's a vital part of her character. There's a reason the other mane 6 families appear so rarely, they simply aren't important to the narrative like the Apple family is.
