I have a gaming PC from the late 2010s that I'm not upgrading because the GPU prices are insane. The PS5 is a bandaid to a large problem going on with PC gaming. The Switch 2 has the franchises I like so I have one of those too. The PS5 allows me to go on a longer without upgrading my PC, that's what it comes down to. The games that require me to pay for online I just get on my PC and those aren't that graphically intensive unless they're the type of shitty coded games like Monster Hunter Wilds and Dragon's Dogma 2.
I effectively don't need Xbox in my life and PC portables aren't in the place I want them to be to invest in them. I think within the next generation, very early 2030, is when PC portables will have Raytracing to do good enough 1080p gaming and be affordable.
