Not what I said. I said moderate effort. It's still trolling. Someone who spent 12 hours drawing a masterwork image of a man shitting on someone's face is high effort but is still trolling. AI just allows for roughly the same level of trolling as the stick figure drawings in the past.
Otherwise I also agree with you that I would vastly prefer the people ruining the threads would leave. And trolls by their very definition are attention whores: if they don't get attention they starve. Simply stop feeding them.
