Hollywood is currently pushing the idea that old, fat, and even pregnant women are just as capable of being in action sequences as younger, fit, non-pregnant women and even men. To be fair, they've also been pushing aging male action stars a bit more than usual, with 80 year old Harrison Ford in the last IJ movie and even older in Captain African American being the most extreme examples. Remember Hollywood got called out for all their biases against anyone who isn't young and attractive so they're going way overboard in trying to correct it.
