While I agree Chinese manufacturing would profit from Russian resources, I don't understand why you think China is going to be nice about them. Best case scenario, they will treat Russia like Africa with snow. Worst case, they will just land grab anything they want. We will probably see a mix of it. It's a business, and making business with West is more profitable than with a single country with economy the size of Italy.
