the problem is that for a davids sling battery you need to the command center, tow the launch pod, tow the radar dish and they all need to be in close vicinity to each other.

israel fucked up when they got rid of their patriot system and replaced it with davids sling as I know the patriot system the command center can be 2km away from the actual launch site however davids sling and arrow systems they need the radar and control system right next to it.
