The storywriting is very mediocre but I hate the fact they don't drop enough stuff to theorize and discuss unlike, say, HSR data bank with lore tidbits about The Riddlers and Device IX and Stonehearts that get people to theorize and look forward to. Or Genshin with NPCs talking about future areas and characters which helps with worldbuilding and anticipation. Meanwhile in ZZZ the NPCs the lore is very localized and we don't even know how many new generation Void Hunters are there besides Miyabi. We just don't get enough stuff to discuss. They probably make shit up as they go along instead of having a clear roadmap of the story until EoS.
