Armored trooper votoms holds a special place in my heart forever for having the absolute best mecha times of all time, but if we're counting manga then dorohedoro is such a uniquely amazing manga that it's my all time favorite, the 3DCG of the anime does NOT do the artstyle of the manga any justice at all.
