I don't know about anywhere else, but in UK there were a small number of conservatives Indians who came here when idi amin expelled them from Uganda. These were about as good as migrants can be. Usually small business owners.
In the past few years we've had hundreds of thousands of normal Indians and it's made everyone immediately hate them.
The reason the UK has turned a corner on migration is because of Indians.
