Despite how mediocre was gameplaywise, pic related showed us that it is possible to make a game using an inmortal or invincible protagonist, and no Wade isn't as strong as Kent, but he is pretty much inmortal, you can slice and dice him up, blow him up into smitherins, behead him, shoot him in the head (all of that happens ingame btw) and still get up after a while and give him actual threats as enemies.
