I continue to be baffled by optics
why do I look completely different in every photo and every mirror? this is a random candid shot from a wedding in which my proportions (hands withstanding) don't look bad, but I can't take a flattering selfie to save my life. In my bedroom mirror I look like the hulk, I look a little better in another mirror in my house with better lighting, there's a mirror at work I look great in but another mirror at work I look awful in, and none of the above have visible distortion looking at stuff around me in the frame. going insane.
