6x6 is an incomparably greater pain in the ass to use than a DSLR. Nerd-necking down into the WLF magnifier to focus properly, transferring exposure settings from your meter every time, not being able to take pictures from directly above something without literal gymnastic manoeuvering, and the most egregious of all, the inverted viewport, all make using 6x6 only for those truly passionate about the format.
