Unironically would've been a better choice. To me the upside to a Trump presidency was a quick exit from Ukraine; I understood he'd probably keep sucking Israeli dick but at least that would be over.
Now here I am, Ukraine war is STILL going on AND Trump is merrily careening towards yet another Middle East boondoggle with laughably thin pretenses. Kamala would've been busy pandering to her Palestinian-loving base right now and telling Netanyahu to fuck off. He probably wouldn't have even launched if those were his "friends" in the White House.
So instead of trading one war for another, I'm now treated to both simultaneously, while Trump sabotages relations with China which will probably start yet another conflict over Taiwan.
Next time I'm just staying home. I think a vote of no confidence has more meaning than anything else I could do. I just want that turnout number to be one less.
