Setting:
The game takes place in “Caledonia”, a secluded, high-tech utopian city built beneath the cliffs and hills of the Outer Hebrides. Founded in the early 1940s, it is the dream of a visionary leader who sought to create an independent, sovereign Scotland—free from addiction, poverty, and the corruption of English politics.
Built into the rock and under the sea, Caledonia uses cutting-edge biotech, renewable energy, and neural conditioning to ensure a "perfect" society: clean, cultured, disciplined, and free of the social rot that plagued the surface.
Premise:
You play as Euan Strachan, a former “Reclaimer” sent to recover a wayward scientist from the outside world. When your transport is sabotaged, you're stranded in Caledonia and discover that this “clean” society is beginning to fracture.
Once a haven from the chaos of modern civilization, Caledonia now teeters on the brink—split between “Purists”, who want to preserve the vision of total moral purity, and “Restorers”, who seek to reclaim humanity's flawed but authentic nature. The player must navigate both the ideological war and a crumbling society haunted by echoes of brainwashing, forced sterilization, and quiet rebellion.
