Samantha turns to Lorene. “W-what are you going to order?”

“I’m good.”

“W-wha?” Samantha tilts her head. “Don’t worry about it, really! It’d be sad if you just had to watch the two of us eat!”

Lorene gives a small forced smile. “I’m fine. I don’t like owing people things.”

“O-oh, I wasn’t gonna make you pay me back or anything!” Lorene’s smile remains unchanged. Samantha looks down. “B-but alright, if you’re sure…”

The three find a nice booth to sit at with their trays of food. Clover’s mouth waters as she unveils the massive Wolf Burger. She looks to the side, noticing Lorene hadn’t ordered anything. The wolf-girl slides her French fries over. “Here, Lorene! I don’t think I can finish all of this, so help me out with my fries! This burger is way bigger than I thought!”

Lorene tries to avoid looking at the food, but the perfectly salted fries are making her hungry. “I’m okay, really.”

“Alright! I’ll just leave the fries over there, so you can help me out if you ever change your mind!” Eyes sparkling, Clover takes a much-anticipated first bite out of her burger and internally squees, kicking her legs. The flavor was so good! Henry had really good taste!

Samantha takes a bite out of her own sandwich and has to relish the taste of the freshly grilled flavors as well. Lorene surreptitiously takes a few fries to nibble on.
