Kaho is too much of a fangirl, and honestly barely cares about Mai beyond superficial readings. She already has enough of those sort of people in her life. Satsuki even spells it out for you, Kaho is not a good person. That's not to say they aren't on good terms, but Kaho and Mai are like, friends of a friend territory.
