Yeah, Lavash was also killed off like in the first episode (cause I guess no racial stereotypes allowed anymore) and Sammy constantly reminisces of him. Meanwhile Teresa, Firewater, and Mr. Grits are all gone from the series for seemingly no in-universe reason.
