“Alliance?” you ask, a bit confused. “What do you mean?”
“While they're all human, a lot of our people don't TRUST the Red Ribbon Army, due to what their androids did in my timeline.” Marron says, you seeing her eyes go dark a moment. Not seeing you, but no doubt seeing the terrible memories of her past. “So, instead of simply becoming a part of them, we're effectively our own 'state'. And, somehow, I've kind of become our people's representative.”
“And you're doing a great job of it.” Krillin says. “You and that other girl, Mai, you're both doing great.”
“I'll say. Last time Gero was down here working on that new project of his he was grumbling about you both.” the woman, whose name is currently eluding you says, turning from her computer and wiping her brow with her sleeve. “Good on you. And you're all good to go Krillin, if you have any issues let me know.”
With a hiss all the cables start disconnecting themselves from him, retracting back to the computer seemingly on their own. The flat table he's laying on also rises vertically, the wrist and ankle restraints retracting back into the table as well. He steps off, taking an unsteady step before finding his balance, straightening back up.
“Appreciate it as always, Bulma. I'll let you know how it handles.” he tells her, then turns back to you. “So, is it almost time?”
“Yeah, they should be getting out any minute.” you reply, figuring he wants to come along as well. “You both want to come along?”
“Of course. I heard stories of the Lookout, but I have no memories of it.” your granddaughter replies. “Let's go.”
Well?
>Take the two of them with you, fly up to the Lookout now
>Tell them you have one stop to make first, teleport from the lab back to that fortuneteller and see if she can tell you any more. While you don't expect to be the one to land a killing blow, you're curious if she can foresee the outcome of the fight before you and Chaya train
>Let them know you'll reach out the moment the door opens, but you don't know how much longer it'll be so you'll head up on your own first
