The FF3/RB1 outfit is interesting when you look at how it's put together. It could never truly replace the original though. Mai is one of those cases where they pretty much nailed the design right away.

Bit off topic for this board but CotW took steps to fix this. She's more chill and reasonable in that game and they gave her stuff to do in her life other than just pursue Andy.
