It's more that HSR devs understand the imporance of balance in omnipandering. They keep the high female to male ratio, but by releasing one guy every 2-3 patches on average, male players don't need to deal with anything like our Sumeru era nor do female players need to wait an entire year for another 5* male. Genshin devs putting a bunch of male or female characters in a row is extremely retarded in comparison. My theory is that they assumed putting these characters in a row would force waifufags or husbandofags to whale to get them all, but imo this is more harmful because it alienates the other demographic, making them more likely to drop then Genshin to focus on other games.
