This is the topic of OP. Men are simply considerably more at risk than women. In fact men are 4 times more at risk of being murdered, it is pointles to look for your twist. Since you've mentioned them, blacks are indeed noticeably more at risk and no one denies that.

Among whites the ratio of murder victims to murderers is very close for men and women (gender ratio 4/4.5, so only about 13% higher for men).
Obviously this is not counting women doing their belly infanticide which is numerically a hundred times larger, adding insult to injury by dehumanizing their victims.
