I'm not sure if it was removed from the LN first this time, but even if some was it can't be the reason for everything missing in the manga. The manga has shown some of it in a quick summary too. Although it's also changed a morning scene after a fade to black to a page of that night and skipping the part in the morning, which I doubt was a LN change.
