Studio has a good reputation so I think it will be good. Most of people's "red flags" are just like actual lies or the most minor things ever. I'll see how it is when it comes out, but I don't own a PS5, only a PS4 and a PC so it'll be awhile until I actually get to play it. Never preordering anything ever again after Cyberpunk 2077 and Dragon's Dogma 2 had really bad releases. Most of the hate for Ghost of Yotei are people mad about a female protagonist voiced by a non-binary person whose biologically female and Asian who doesn't look like porn model (like every single woman in GOT looked like). That or it's trolling to post inflammatory culture war stuff online. This could be Sucker Punches major flop / disappointment but so far there's no real indication of that. I honestly prefer the fact it's an entirely new character, setting and time. I love Jin Sakai but I'd much rather him pass the torch to a new character Far Cry, Bioshock and GTA style where it's a new character in every game. Bioshock 2 had an amazing DLC where you just play a whole new guy, and Bioshock Infinite's DLC just had Booker and Elizabeth AGAIN and it fucking sucked. Like I love Dead Space but Dead Space 3 proved to me that reoccurring protagonists just make my eyes roll after a certain point of how fucking lucky/unlucky this guy is and the whole world revolves around him. I'm for one don't want to play as Leon again in the Resident Evil 9. He can show up like Chris did in Village but outside of mercenary mode I just want the old Resident Evil cast to gradually retire to bring from freshness into the series like Ethan Winters wonderfully did. Resident Evil Village, for it's faults, blows 5 and 6 out of the water, and those two games are just constant callbacks to the other games. Like I love the characters but sometimes you just got to let them rest. Plus if it's always a new character it's basically impossible for them to ruin the older character because it is it's own thing.
