It's steep enough that anything that tries to walk on it would end up sliding down. There are rocks and tree branches on could hold onto under less wet and slippery conditions, not that this matters in any obvious way to you. The depth of the water is unclear, but there's enough tree trunks piercing the water surface to tell you that it's usually shallower and probably a lot less turbulent
