no, because robo wives will never become a thing
if a robot can imitate a human woman and do chores around the house and have sex then it can also hold a gun and pull a trigger
basically robots are the ultimate weapon. do you think the government will allow a super soldier in every home that makes people independent of their policing and surveillance? lmao
if bots are allowed to "become a thing" someone will inevitably use one to have it kill themself (or something equally retarded) and politicians, etc. will act outraged (even though they actually expected this) in order to demand robot gun controls and such be put into place
robo wives will effectively be neutered losing everything that made them good. they'll end up relegated to being "expensive sex toys for losers" (through memetic warfare on top of the software downgrades and/or market/technological progress manipulation) while the governments of the world will have their robo soldiers that civilians can't defend against in any meaningful way
