Addendum, Hoffman and his wife were shot but not killed. Hortman and her husband were killed.
Also he drove from Champlin to Brooklyn park and ditched, but left his vehicle at Brooklyn if that wasn't clear.

Interesting he didn't make sure Hoffman was dead before leaving.
