>According to Einstein's theory of special relativity, it is impossible to travel faster than the speed of light, and attempting to do so would require an infinite amount of energy. This is because as an object approaches the speed of light, its mass increases towards infinity, requiring an ever-increasing amount of energy to accelerate it further. Therefore, infinite energy would be needed to reach the speed of light, let alone exceed it.
So merely being able to go FTL in a real world settings would imply a variety of much more impressive feats that powerscalers grasp at, and not only that, but FTL in the real world is theoretically believed to begin turning back time and doubles as time travel.
As it stands FTL travel is not possible in 3 dimensional physics. Really anything with FTL has destructive power on par with Wally West (Multiverse nuking)
