>August 4TŠ„ marks exactly 30 years since the Croatian military operation "Storm", which the Serbian community considers the largest ethnic cleansing in Europe since World War II. On the occasion of the anniversary, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Skopje issued a statement recalling the suffering of the Serbian people and the demographic catastrophe that the operation caused.
>The statement says that in just a few days, more than 250,000 Serbs were expelled from the areas of Banija, Lika, Kordun and northern Dalmatia ā territories of the former Republic of Serbian Krajina ā and forced to leave their centuries-old homes.
