Three kittens. This fact didn't surprise her at all.

The second notable person to receive a check-up was Mel.
"Fairy lineage?" Nicodemus stares up at her. "Hoo-hoo, you're the tallest fae I've met, if true."
"I get that a lot." Mel giggles.
Your beguiler explained her status and family history, much better than Herta could at least— something which Nicodemus visibly appreciated. The doctor was able to get a better reading from the artifact because of it, and mentioned how it was likely Mel would only have one child.
"I knew I was gonna have a kid!" Mel said with an infectious smile. "See? I told you!"
You agreed readily with her, not being able to stop smiling too, as awkward and embarrassing and nervous as she could be she was still a pillar of joy.
"That concludes that," The doctor said, rising and extending a wing. "Goodness, six pregnant slaves... You must've been busy."
"Yeah, you could say that." You replied, shaking his feathers like you'd shake a hand.
"I should forewarn you, John Doe, having so many children at once has caused trouble for some Masters. I cannot speak for your situation, of course."
"Yeah, thanks anyway." You begin to move away.
"Ah, and before I forget, there is something else I must warn you about," He said, taking a more serious tone. "There is a famous wandering doctor claiming to enact miracles and divine blessings. He is a harpy— a duck— which is most unfortunately sullying the good name of my kind. He goes by the name of 'Quack'. His prices may be cheap, and he may even offer 'evidence', but do not be mistaken, for he is a charlatan and a conman."
You thank him for the information and then make your way outside.
It was already dark, the last vestiges of dusk slowly melting into the horizon. All of your wives, save for Ruby, were tired— Herta had fallen asleep again by this point and was drooling on an arm of a couch. You gathered all your wives and went on your way.
When returning to Cinnamon Inn, you gave Ruby a visit in the night.
"My gallant Master," Ruby was expecting you. She gave you an unbearably smug look. "I am not surprised you couldn't keep your hands to yourself~"
"As you might recall, madame" You playfully reminded your Mastermind, "It was you who could hardly keep herself from me, needing to be coaxed by my promises. And while we were the guests of my in-laws, no less."
"Surely, an intelligent man like yourself cannot blame me for desiring you, no~?"
And so the two of you teased and schemed and kissed and made love deep into the night.
The next morning came up, and you were feeling refreshed.
And so, another day began...
