I'm still working the details out but I'm thinking they should be an exposed spine on her back that wraps around to the front. You got the attachment down
Also ye she's got mandibles and so does the centipede(?) thing
Not sure how to tackle the rear bug part.. I'm thinking either a bug abdomen or just some kind of cape thing
I gotta figure out how to make the hole in her chest read better too

I think this is the third or fourth time I'm redesigning this character lol
