Kept playing with VFE Deserters and it's a bunch of fun. Deserters essentially gives you access to a bunch of quests that has you sabotage the Empire or assassinate royals on maps like picrel while managing your notoriety to prevent getting nuked. Thanks to Odyssey's shuttle, it feels just a little bit like XCOM where you arm up and recover at base and then fly off to your next mission.
