>A mob stormed the Jutaí police station in the interior of Amazonas state and lynched a man who had been arrested on suspicion of raping a 1-year-and-6-month-old child. The victim had disappeared the previous night while sleeping on a floating boat in the port of Jutaí.
>On the night of September 19, during the suspect's interrogation, a mob outraged by the crime surrounded the police station and stormed it. According to the Military Police, the mob used firecrackers, Molotov cocktails, and threw glass bottles at the building.
>Upon entering the police station, the mob managed to locate the suspect, who was taken to the street and lynched.
>In a statement, the police reported that despite their efforts, they were unable to contain the riot. They also reported that the Security Forces have already begun investigations to identify those responsible for the lynching.

It literally is that simple, bong bros, coppers are cowards, they won't do anything when confronted by a large crowd with intent to kill. Some people might end up arrested in the aftermatch but this is a worthy price to pay, imagine that happened everytime the polinsect tried to protect these animals.
