Many people have been migrating from NY, NJ, Chicago, & LA to southern states over the past few years.. This is well documented. A millionaire tax will be another nudge. For people to whom money is no object this won’t be a motivator. But just barely crossing the millionaire threshold is probably just middle class in NYC. Basically anyone who has a good job and bought property in the right place at the right time.
