I have to say when I was a young boy playing these games I kind of assumed that in the future it would have advanced so we would be playing gigantic battles with like 40 vs 40 units and the AI would be super smart and you could delegate units to like a lieutenant or something.
Instead it's like basically nothing has advanced and they just license different settings now
